Art Department internships at PAPA Advertising
Interns help make PAPA Advertising Fresher. And Smarter. The best of them offer a renewable source of energy and enthusiasm…our own little green movement.
PAPA’s highly competitive Art Department internships are open to college students who exhibit outstanding aptitude or talent in graphic design and related fields.
Candidates are required to present a portfolio of their work and complete screening assignments in Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Other considerations include demonstration of excellent interpersonal and organizational skills as well as the ability to work independently across multiple projects.
Successful candidates will be invited to participate in an internship ranging from four to 12 weeks, dependent on agency needs and student availability. Compensation is offered at the sole discretion of the agency and is based strictly on contribution to agency success.
Typical responsibilities of PAPA Art Department interns may include:
- Design and production for brand identities, brochures, posters, promotional materials, publications and websites as well as all forms of traditional advertising and interactive media.
- Production assistance including assembling pre-production materials, scanning images, and updating design files and digital archives.
- Research support for design-related activities.
- Preparation of correspondence, files and other documents related to assignments.
